Northumberland is justly famous for its wildlife, and one of our great pleasures is enjoying seeing our native birds, mammals and insects in their natural environment.
Visitors are welcome to discuss anything that has been spotted locally, or sit in the conservatory at breakfast and enjoy watching the many birds that feed in our garden. We can help with suggestions of places to visit to make the most your time, from bird-watching to red squirrel-spotting or dolphin and seal watching. Maps and binoculars are available for free loan to guests.
We either belong to or support the following local clubs and societies. Click on the links to their websites for further information about the abundance of wildlife that make their home in this area.
